Armsgate: Did Haschke have a role in Navy deal?
TIMES NOW got incriminating evidence to prove how the defense scam was not just limited to choppers - but was in fact a multi-crore global arms scandal. On Tuesday (February 26) a disclosure report filed by Italian Defense Giant Finmeccanica to the courts in May 2012, exposes how missing Italian agent Guido Ralph Haschke was paid for pushing products to the Indian Navy. Oto Melara SPA, a direct subsidiary of Finmeccanica in fact paid 58000 euros to Haschke. However it is not clear whether Haschke played a direct role in pushing a particular 127 mm gun deal or whether he was to pitch for a range of Oto Melara products in India.
