France's François Hollande meets Indian PM Singh

French President François Hollande met Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Thursday (February 14) to deepen strategic partnership between both nations.

Hollande is accompanied by France's First Lady Valerie Trierweiller, a high-level delegation including several key ministers of his Cabinet, senior officials, business-persons and media.

Earlier in the day, the French President met his Indian counterpart, Pranab Mukherjee at the Presidential residence in New Delhi and was presented with the state's ceremonial welcome.

He is also expected to hold delegation level talks with Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid, as well as calling on chief of ruling Congress party Sonia Gandhi and senior leader of main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sushma Swaraj.
