Despite outrage over his hate speech, Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Praveen Togadia has justified his speech. Togadia said that there is a political conspiracy against him and the Congress wants him behind bars for political gains. He claimed that otherwise Congress wouldn't have waited 17 days to file an FIR against him. Earlier, Togadia had delivered venomous speech referring to the riots in the past and repeatedly warning the minorities in full public view at a rally in Maharashtra. Despite hatred speech Maharashtra government has not taken any concrete action against the VHP leader.
