Indian Derby: Top contenders to battle for Rs 3 crore prize.

The stage is set for the richest and the most prestigious sporting event in the country, the Signature Indian Derby 2013. The country's top colts and fillies are being put through the grid at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in what's expected to be the closest race in many years. These thoroughbreds are put through a rigorous training regime which includes swimming and sessions on the treadmill. And every piece of equipment is custom made for these high maintenance thoroughbreds in what is a very superstitious sport. Not just in training, these horses are also being pampered and groomed, to give their best and look their best in the Indian derby this Sunday.
