Police said at least two people were injured in a shooting at a California high school - Thursday morning.
Local media reported the gunman was arrested.
NBC News said students were evacuated from Taft Union High School at about 9 am - after gunfire erupted at the school - located about 30 miles from the city of Bakersfield.
This latest school shooting comes at the U.S. debates gun control - following the deadly shooting at a school in Newtown, Connecticut last month.
