Seth MacFarlane breaks Oscars mold

Seth MacFarlane will get a leg up on his hosting duties when he joins actress Emma Stone to announce the nominations for the 85th Academy Awards.
This will be the first time since 1972 that an Oscar show host has participated in the announcements.
The "Family Guy" creator broke onto the big screen last summer with his box office smash, "Ted".
Stone made an impression at the 2012 Oscars, appearing with Ben Stiller to present the Best Visual Effects Oscar.
Their routine was praised by many as one of the show's highlights.
The Academy Awards will be handed out on February 24th.
