After eluding police for a month, Congress MLA from Doon, Himachal Pradesh, Ram Kumar Chaudhary on Tuesday (Jan 8) produced in Panchkula district court and remanded to 6 day police custody. Chaudhary had surrendered on Tuesday after being wanted in connection with the murder of 24-year-old Jyoti Devi. Earlier, police had announced a cash reward of Rupees 2 lakh for him and also kept close eye on the oath ceremony where he was expected to come.
