U.S Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's undergoing treatment at this New York hospital for a blood clot.

The State Department said the clot was linked to a concussion she suffered earlier in December when she fainted.

Officials blamed that on dehydration due to a stomach virus.

Clinton was admitted to hospital on Sunday.

A statement said she would be there for the following 48 hours where doctors were giving her anti-coagulants.
