Testing our Waterproof Dog Socks as Winter Paw Protectors

We wanted to see if the Grippers could help protect dog paws when walking in snow. Ozzy our senior volunteer often has trouble walking in the snow and would prefer it if he never had to - well that was before trying our Grippers. While they don't give him traction like they do indoors, they completely prevented the snow from irritating his paws and eliminated the clumping that causes him to limp.

While this video is just a small glimpse at his fancy feet, Ozzy wore the Grippers for an hour long walk, without any need to adjust the socks and most importantly, he came home happy and hyper thanks to his new winter gear.

Even though the main use for these socks is to give older dogs and disabled dogs traction on slippery indoor surfaces such as hardwood or tile, it is great to know that they can also benefit dogs in need of paw protection outdoors even in winter conditions.
