Fighters arriving in Syria from abroad

The Syrian crisis may have begun simply as a battle to push President Assad out - but the two sides are increasingly split along sectarian lines.

That is the assessment from UN investigators, who say fighters from around the world are arriving in Syria to take up arms for both sides.
