Coming from Chicago, Matthew Shelton is a composer/guitarist/mbira player who creates strange songs, sad and optimistic at the same time. Firmly grounded in the american folk tradition, Shelton is also inspired by jazz, classical, ethnic music and experiments of all kinds. Me or the Moon has been recorded live in a small village of Lorraine, France, during a short fall/winter tour of Europe.
