Unfortunately, bandleader Nicholas Orlando is totally forgotten today and strictly no personal data are known about him. He recorded a few tunes in the early 1920s and then got lost in the fog of time. Hence, this recording is very interesting, since despite the band's obscurity, it obviously comprised quite a few fine musicians. This rare recording is even more remarkable, since it seems to be the one and only recording of this piece, waxed in 1921.
