MoD shows resolve despite fund crunch

Despite financial pressures, the Ministry of Defence has given a go ahead to add 50,000 troops to protect the Indo-China border. Earlier, Defence minister AK Antony separately met Army Chief General Bikram Singh and the Air Chief Marshal and asked for a reworked proposal regarding the buildup in Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh.
