Girls barred from donning black?

The District Magistrate of Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh has issued a rather bizarre diktat, barring girl students, who have been listed to receive cheques under girl education scheme from Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today (Dec 9), from wearing black clothes. Though the Samajwadi Party has shifted the blame on the District Administration, the issue over dress code has raked up a controversy in the state commission.
