Hayward Eastward: BP boss banished to Siberia

BP boss Tony Hayward will step down after the company posted a $17 billion second-quarter loss - its first in 18 years. He's shouldered much of the blame for the firm's poor handling of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The British company's already confirmed Bob Dudley, one of its American executives, will take over in October. Meanwhile, Hayward's expected to be offered a new role in the joint venture between BP and the Russian oil company TNK.
