Freight train derails in New Jersey, causes chemical leak

A train derailment in southern New Jersey sent tankers filled with hazardous material into a nearby creek. One tanker could be seen hanging dangerously from the track.

The train was carrying vinyl chloride when it went off the track and the site was enveloped in fog. Several locals say they are are having difficulty breathing. It isn't clear, at this point, what caused the derailment.
