Venezia 2019 - European Culture Forum is back from November 23 to 25, 2012: a new location, within the area of the former Magazzini Ligabue in Venice, and a renewed format which aims at networking four indipendent cultural projects: the Cultural Heritage and Restoration Forum, New Digital Technologies for Culture, Open Design Italia and Open Restorations.
Four different sections with a single common thread - Venezia#Berlin - aiming at building a bridge between Venice and the German capital, which in the last 30 years has established itself as a world capital of art, design, creativity and culture. Berlin and its liveliness are not considered as models to imitate, yet rather as privileged partners to share projects and ideas. In the last 12 months, Germany has often played a major and dei ning role in Europe. Through a rich program of debates and thanks to the participation of renowned speakers from Italy and Germany, the European Culture Forum intends to of er an opportunity to discuss the identity and future of our continent, which is facing a difficult - yet strategic - time for the European Union itself.
