Battleground Las Vegas

Las Vegas. It's the town of glitz, glamor, money and sin. In the Presidential race it is a state that is too close to call. Both President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney are betting on victory.
Beyond Las Vegas's historic strip life gets very real. It's a state hit by high unemployment, rampant home foreclosures, and all around economic hardship.
Mason Harrison, the nevada communications director for Romney is optimistic.
SOUNDBITE) (English) MASON HARRISON, NEVADA COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR FOR MITT ROMNEY SAYING:
"We've campaigned very hard. We won't be out-worked and we're excited on election day, we think we're going to win."
The Obama campaign is also upbeat says state senator Ruben Kihuen.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) NEVADA STATE SENATOR RUBEN KIHUEN SAYING:
"I'm very confident that we are going to deliver to President Obama, but we're not taking anything for granted."
For residents, their vote may down to who can deliver relief.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) GREG FREEMAN SAYING:
"I think it's hit pretty hard here because casinos are the major revenue here for the state and a lot of people have been laid off, a lot of buildings that are not being finished, a lot of hotels don't have people working in them because they have to cut numbers, we're hit really hard here."
On the eve of the Presidential election there are still no sure bets for who will win Nevada's 6 electoral votes.
