NASA released a time lapse animation showing the movement of Hurricane Sandy on Sunday (October 28).
NOAA's (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) GOES-14 satellite captures images of Sandy every minute from 7:15 (1115GMT) to 6:26 EDT (2226GMT).
The "super rapid scan" reveals details of the storm's motion as it approaches the East Coast of the United States.
