It was a complete overhaul of UPA 2 led by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. On the whole, the PM seems to have played out the balancing act. Both at the cabinet rank and at the MoS level, this rejig saw quite a few new faces along with some veterans and stalwarts to those who've been waiting in the ranks for quite a while. There were also some strategic regional inclusions from Mamata baiters to Andhra strongmen to those vital to calming the Telangana stir.
