A stampede at a music festival in northern Germany has now claimed at least 19 lives. More than 340 others were injured, as crowds tried to pack into the already-crowded entrance tunnel to the Love Parade in the city of Duisburg. The event continued as police and organisers feared a second wave of panic if the festival was abruptly stopped. The 'Love Parade' event attracts music fans from all over the world, drawing a crowd of more than a million this year.
