Turkey has exhumed the remains of former President Turgut Ozal on the order of prosecutors investigating events surrounding his death.

Ozal died in Ankara in 1993 at the age of 65.

Relatives voiced concerns that he had been poisioned.

Forensic teams are due to carry out tests to discover if any toxins are present in the remains.
