ARAMARK Hires Environmental Interns; Deloitte CFO Survey Says Sustainability is Key to Strategy; US Airways Employees Mark 15 Years of Volunteerism - CSR Minute for September 26, 2012

ARAMARK has hired 17 young professionals for its 2012 Environmental Sustainability Internship program. The program provides participants with hands-on job experience as they help implement solutions for Aramark clients. The 2012 class of interns work at client locations for six to nine months, from Florida to Alaska, and in a variety of different business settings. The program works in partnership with the Student Conservation Association.

Two thirds of CFOs say they are involved in driving sustainability strategies in their organizations, according to a global survey by Deloitte. The survey, Sustainability: CFOs Come to the Table, represented 250 CFOs in 14 countries across five continents. More than half of those polled said that their involvement had increased over the last year.
