One person was killed and 12 others injured in a stampede that occured at around 2am on Tuesday (September 25) morning at a Hanuman Temple in Panki, Kanpur. When the gates to the temple were opened for early moring prayers, many people tried to get in at same time, leading to chaos. Just yesterday (Sep 24), nine people were killed in a stampede in Deoghar in Jharkhand.
