While the rest of the Exclaim! crew was off enjoying this summer's Hillside Festival, we left Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew in charge of the microphone, tasked with interviewing Sloan's Chris Murphy. Part one, posted last week, saw the guys straying from any sort of formal interview, and quickly became a discussion in which Drew asserts his youth before they launch into a discussion about KISS.

Getting down to the task at hand, Drew manages to stick to a few more formal interview topics, like career highs and lows, before Murphy questions Drew's response as "not having any" career lows. Drew reveals the sting of a Portuguese fan tell him his performance was "terrible," (after an admittedly terrible show) while Murphy expresses his disdain for yawning audience members.

Murphy, to Drew's surprise, fantasizes about what it would be like being a part of Sloan if any of the other band members were missing, just as Jay returns to the interview right at the end to take a cheap shot at Exclaim! Maybe we should be doing these ourselves...
