After 911 it has become tendy to crticise Quran for supporting terrorism, this is due to ignroance, of terrorists Muslims and non Muslims, who misquote verses out of context to support their henious agenda. However there are Western learned scholars, scientists, intellectuals and statesmen who after having studied the Quran give theire frank opinion which is an eye opener for bigiot, ignorant Islamophobes and extremists the world over.
Qur’an is the word of God, directly revealed to the last Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Arabic during 23 years of his Apostolic mission [610-632 C.E]. It was instantly preserved by putting in to writing and memorization by his companions. During all ages, millions of Muslim of all age groups memorize Qur’an comprising over 6000 verses; a unique distinction which makes Qur’an. The message of Quran is MONOTHEISM, obeidence and worship of ONE abloute God [Allah]. Some Qur’anic verses, draw the attention of humanity towards scientific phenomena, as His signs, related with Astronomy, Physics, Geography, Geology, Oceanology, Biology, Botany, Zoology, Medicine, Physiology, Embryology as well as General Science, mostly un known to humanity fourteen centuries ago, discovered recently proving miraculous nature of Qur’an as word of God.
