Anti-FDI voices louden

The opposition has launched an all-out attack on the government over the big reforms it announced on Friday (September 14). A combined (united) opposition has decided to call for a nation wide bandh on the 20th of September to protest the government 's move to allow FDI in multi brand retail. Meanwhile, the government has dismissed the opposition to its reform drive, terming it 'a result of political compulsion'.
