The French president has said he wants to bring forward the closure date of the country's oldest nuclear power station.
Francois Hollande said Fessenheim in eastern France should close at the end of 2016, several months earlier than planned.
Last week a leak of steam triggered the 34-year-old power station's second alert of the year.
