A Vatican judge has ordered the Pope's personal butler and a fellow employee stand trial after an official investigation into the "Vatileaks" scandal.

The butler, Paolo Gabriele, has been charged with stealing and leaking confidential
documents.

He allegedly took the papers, which showed power struggles within the church, from the Pope's private apartment.

Al Jazeera's Claudio Lavanga reports from Rome.
