Olympics usher in new era for Libyan sport

Libya have sent just five athletes to the Olympics, but having a team in London at all is an achievement in itself.

Under the rule of Muammar Gaddafi little was done to back sport and the country has never won an olympic medal.

Just weeks before these games, the head of the Libyan Olympic Committee was kidnapped at gunpoint.
