6 years ago27 views

Pablo Neruda died less than two weeks after the 1973 military coup in Chile. He was a Nobel laureate and Marxist intellectual. Most people assumed he died of natural causes.

Al Jazeera's Latin America Editor Lucia Newman reports from Isla Negra, Chile.
