Some twenty years ago I wrote this song. It's a song about a gas station worker who runs away from the accident at a nuclear power plant. It's a fiction, or it was a fiction until we'd seen that explosion at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. Some twenty years ago, with this song, I toured around all the locations across Japan including Fukushima and Rokkasho Village. I will hit the road again with the same song, hoping all the nukes be shut down.
'The sky is falling down!'is a kinda nuclear disaster simulation song and was composed by Manji more than twenty years ago. Who could imagine the nightmare in the song coming true ? Now I suppose this song , which we have played hundreds of times, might have been a magical spell to keep the disaster from happening. From_now on, we must put a new and strong wish into it.
