Preparing for Issac in Alabama

As tropical storm Isaac churns across the Gulf Coast preparations are underway in Alabama.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) UNIDENTIFIED RESIDENT SAYING:
"I know this one is far away and we have a little time to prepare for it. That's what we're going home to do right now."
With Isaac gaining strength, and despite the sunshine, people are boarding up their homes.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) UNIDENTIFIED RESIDENT SAYING:
"Its something in the air that lets you know"
Residents are also stocking up. Empty shelves in grocery stores are increasingly becoming a common sight.
Isaac is forecast to become a hurricane Tuesday. The National Hurricane Center says it is not expected to strengthen beyond Category 1, the weakest type of hurricane.
