Salvaging their few belongings from one of Haiti's many tent cities, as Tropical Storm Isaac ravages the country.
Heavy rains and high winds have lashed Haiti's southern coast and flooded parts of the capital, Port au Prince.
Residents here - already homeless after a devastating earthquake killed hundreds of thousands two years ago - are particularly vulnerable.
Many apparently declined attempts to evacuate them, staying in their makeshift homes for fear they would be robbed, though children under eight were allowed to shelter at a UN office.
Outside the tent cities, people fared no better.
Government officials say a 10-year-old girl was killed when a wall fell on her and a woman crushed to death when a tree fell on her house.
This woman says the water destroyed everything she had. "I don't have any other place to go and I don't know what to do," she says.
There are now fears the flooding could reignite a cholera epidemic, which has already killed more than 7000 since the earthquake.
