Little progress achieved at Rio Summit

Many environmentalists, anti-poverty activists and diplomats call the Rio summit a big disappointment.

But Mohammed Waheed, the president of the Maldives, says language of concluding statement could have been stronger and much clearer.

For three days, speakers touted their own countries' eco-accomplishments, exhorted other countries to do more, and repeated, over and over, the obvious fact that the world is in big trouble.
