Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has urged U.S. President Barack Obama to end what he called a "witch-hunt" against his whistleblowing website.

Assange broke his silence with a dramatic speech from the balcony of the Ecuadorean embassy in London, where he has been holed up for two months.
