Exclusive – Flintoff: If England want to be the best, they must keep Pietersen

Andrew Flintoff insists England cannot afford to lose Kevin Pietersen.
Pietersen has been dropped for this week’s third and final Test against South Africa - a clash England must win if they are to remain at the top of the rankings - amid widespread reports the star batsman sent derogatory text messages about his team-mates to Proteas players.
But Flintoff has warned the England and Wales Cricket Board against discarding the 32-year-old on a permanent basis.
