ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

STORY: Five people, including three Russians, died when a firefighting helicopter crashed in southwestern Turkey, the Dogan news agency reported.

The Russian helicopter was rented for fighting wildfires and it was operated by Turkish and Russian crew members.

The accident happened as the helicopter went down in a deep valley while trying to douse the flames, the Turkish Forestry and Water Ministry said in a written statement. Nobody survived the crash, Dogan news agency said.

The helicopter was trying to extinguish a forest fire in the village of Karacam, Dogan agency reported.
