Turks march in support of Syrian uprising

In solidarity with the people of Syria, around two hundred Turks march through the streets of Istanbul.

As violence rages in neighboring Syria, the crowd chant slogans against President Bashar al-Assad and his regime.

But Syrian refugees at a camp in Turkey feel the international community is abandoning them, while news spreads of international mediator Kofi Annan's resignation as peace envoy.

One refugee said he believes Annan's heart is with Assad.

Another added that Annan is an accomplice of Assad and also responsible for the bloodshed.

Annan blamed "finger-pointing and name-calling" at the U.N. Security Council for his decision to quit but suggested his successor may have better luck.
