The unsung heroes of 9/11

New York police and firefighters became national heroes after 9/11. But rescue workers weren't the only ones to respond.
Thousands of clean-up workers - many undocumented - were called to the scene, and laboured for weeks amid the debris without protection. Many who are sick now and can no longer work feel forgotten by the city and the nation.
