Skeptics slam Nepal's bid to end power crisis

Civil wars and poor infrastructure have left Nepal struggling with daily power cuts which sometimes last for as long as 14 hours.

The government is promising to produce three times as much electricity in the next five years.

Despite the pledge, and the country's massive hydroelectric potential, financiers say the country's power-purchase agreements are holding back investment.
