One Malaysian national was killed when a tanker caught fire off Labuan Island, off the coast of Borneo island in Malaysia early on Thursday (July 26).
Three crew members were injured and four were still missing, local coast guard officials said after the fire broke out around 2.30 a.m. local time (1830 GMT).
The Bunga Alpina, carrying 29 crewmembers, including 23 Malaysians and six Filipinos, was owned by MISC - a sister company of a unit of Malaysia's state oil firm Petronas Chemicals.
