Environmental fears over cruise ship wreck

Rescuers have found another body in the wreckage of the Costa Concordia, bringing to seven the current death toll following a maritime accident off the coast of Italy, the daily Italian newspaper La Stampa said.

While the captain is being blamed for the incident, the Costa Concordia liner has now also shifted and there are growing fears that leaking oil could cause an environmental disaster.

Bad weather conditions have hampered rescue efforts and attempts to remove the 2,400 tonnes of diesel fuel and 50 tonnes of oil.

Al Jazeera's Nazanin Sadri reports.
