Reports slams French slimming drug

An official report in France has found that the slimming drug Mediator should not have been prescribed after it was linked to heart problems.
The report by the General Inspectorate of Social Affairs says the drug, which has been blamed for more than 500 deaths, should have been banned ten years before it actually was.
