"Today we will miss and remember and tomorrow a new day begins. We will in the future - not without pain and sorrow - make it together.

It was one of a series of events marking the first anniverary of a bombing and shooting rampage by Anders Behring Brevik - now on trial for the killings.

He has admitted to setting off a bomb in central Oslo before heading to a summer camp where he methodically killed 69 people - most of them teenagers.

A court is expected to hand down his sentence next month.
