The music of the film 'Aalaap' was launched with much fanfare at the Novotel Hotel in Juhu. Indian rock band Agnee performed at the event. The cast of the film, comprising Gamya Wijayadasa, Abhimanyu Singh, Harsh Rajput, Aabid Shamim and Pitobash Tripathi, spoke about the significance of the word 'Aalaap'.
