STORY: American country singer Carrie Underwood has performed her first ever concert in the UK, a sell-out show at London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall. The former American Idol winner is on tour following the release of her fourth album "Blown Away". Speaking to Reuters after the concert on Thursday (June 21), Underwood said she had a great night and was happy with the reaction from the crowd. Underwood shot to fame in 2005 when she won the fourth season of American Idol. Since then she has become a multi-platinum selling recording artist, winning a shelf full of awards including several Grammys and Billboard Music accolades.
