Kunal Kohli directed film Teri Meri Kahaani which stars Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the lead, has officially launched its first look and unveiled the trailer at the recently held event.
The film which also stars Prachi Desai and Neha Sharma has music by Sajid-Wajid.
The movie is a romantic drama, which revolves around Shahid-Priyanka and their association (starting literately from the crib) goes through a span of 30 years. The love story travels in various location and over the years and the two sports different look in the film starting from metro to modern. The story is said to be set between 1910 (Lahore), 1960 (Mumbai), and 2012 (England). The characters are said to be playing different roles in each time period.
Among the many stories, we hear that one has Shahid playing a struggling music director, while Priyanka an actress. The first romance story is set in 1910 in a colonial India, revolving around Sargoda in Lahore. The modern day story in 2012 set in England has Shahid playing Krish and Priyanka Radha!
The trailer had raised a doubt if the story line of Teri Meri Kahaani is similar to that of a Taiwanese film Three Times. But the director & producer Kunal insist its original and not copied from any film.
Seems like Shahid has a liking for such love stories, as his earlier (no so successful film) Mausam, his father Pankaj Kapoor's directorial debut also had a similar story which had Sonam Kapoor in the lead. Here Sasha gets to romance his ex Piggy Chops and they come together again after their git Kaminey.
