A backhoe working in the area hit a 2 inch natural gas line on Atkinson ave this afternoon around 4pm. Fire and RCMP were called in to block off the surrounding area and a few buildings were evacuated. Gas company and Power company arrived just after 5pm and at 5:27pm RCMP started opening up the streets as the leak is fixed. Video used on 2 Bon'heures TV Rogers.
