Garbage Truck Fire , Riverview NB

Riverview fire department and Codiac RCMP responded to a Garbage truck on fire around 8am, on the ramp leading onto the Causeway from Riverview to Moncton. Firefighters knocked down the fire , but couldn't get it out completely so they got the truck driver to drive the truck to Westmorland Solid Waste(the dump) while a fire truck follows. Moncton Fire Department was then notified to meet the garbage truck at the dump so they could unload the truck and put the fire out. Video aired on CTV news with Bruce Frisko.
. At the same time this was going on there were a couple of accidents on Route 126 one vehicle on its roof all due to black ice in the area.
